Objectives: The purpose of this program is to: • Reduce the treatment gap (i.e., shortening the time to diagnosis, and increasing referral to specialty care) by improving professional education about epilepsy diagnosis, treatment, and management); • Increase access to appropriate health care services, community resources, and self-management supports among people with epilepsy and their families; • Improve the public’s knowledge about, and attitudes toward, epilepsy to reduce epilepsy stigma; and • Improve health, social participation, and quality of life for people with epilepsy.
