Indiana was previously ATR-funded in ATR-II; during which project Indiana developed an award winning system for providing services in 7 target counties with 3 target populations. In ATR-III this network of clinical treatment and recovery support service providers will be expanded to cover 10 counties from all over the state and will grow to include military families among those that we serve. Indiana ATR (IN-ATR) is a collaborative effort between the Indiana FSSA Division of Mental Health and Addictions, the Office of Faith-based and Community Initiatives, the Indiana National Guard, the Indiana Department of Corrections, the Indiana Health Department and a broad array of faith and community based organizations. In ATR-III, Indiana will expand this system to include counties from all areas of the state and both urban and rural communities. These counties have been identified as high priority by the State Epidemiology and Outcomes Workgroup (SEOW). These 10 counties encompass over 2.7 million people (44% of total Indiana population). Indiana ATR services are provided to individuals in four targeted populations: (1) adults who are returning to the community from criminal justice facilities; (2) service members from active duty military, reserves, or National Guard and their family members; (3) women who are pregnant or have dependent children; or (4) adults who have used methamphetamine in the last 90 days. INATR will serve 9,420 clients during the four year project (2150, 2, 600, 2,600, and 2,070 for Years 1-4 respectively). All ATR counties have been identified as high priority by the SEOW. Indiana will establish a network of providers in all 10 counties offering real choice to all clients and will improve the NOMS outcomes for these clients through delivery of constantly improved service quality.
