EXP OF SUBST ABUSE TREATMENT FOR THE BENTON COUNTY ADULT DRUG COURT - The purpose of the Benton County Adult Treatment Drug Court (BCATDC) project is to increase accessibility to acute care services for drug treatment court clients most in need of intensive services thus providing a fully integrated continuum of care. This program will specifically target individuals least likely to succeed with traditional drug court outpatient substance abuse treatment approaches - those with the greatest personal vulnerabilities, problem severity, complexity and chronicity, and fewest natural supports. The program anticipates serving 96 clients in year one, 110 clients in year two, and 140 clients in year three for a total of 346 clients over the three year funding period. The goals of this project are to: 1) Enhance/expand access to a full continuum of care for drug treatment, mental health services, and peer support; 2) Improve long-term recovery outcomes for the target population through provision of evidence-based treatment approaches and increased availability of non-clinical recovery support services before, during and after treatment; and 3) Sustain the integrated system of care.
