The coalition will prevent and reduce youth substance use by implementing the following strategies: increase internal structure through the adaption of bylaws and the establishment of officers; provide information to the community on grant progress and recruit new members; receive training on the Strategic Prevention Framework and environmental strategies to increase capacity and sustainability; and implement new policies and increase consequences for providing youth access to substances, including marijuana, prescription drugs and tobacco.
