Project Abstract The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services will continue to collaborate with the local public health agencies (LPHAs), the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency, the Missouri Department of Mental Health and other partners to address the 10 Public Health Response Readiness Framework Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Program Priorities and the 15 Capabilities through the activities listed in the Work Plan and in the Project Narrative. In BP1, we will focus on the following: Continue to introduce and encourage LPHAs to use the new statewide risk assessment tool the Missouri Public Health Risk Assessment Tool (MOPHRAT) to complete required risk assessments. The completed MOPHRAT will identify at‐risk populations and develop partnerships with organizations serving at risk populations as evidenced by partners identified in the risk assessment tool. Reinstate the Partner Readiness Evaluation Program (PREP). The purpose on this program is to better identify areas in which the LPHAs are successful and areas in which technical assistance would be offered. Create a real‐time reporting system for environmental health field activities using ArcGIS’ Survey123. In addition to use during routine inspections and investigations, the system is being used in response to public health threats/incidents. Affected programs include: environmental child care, Legionella prevention and control, food safety, lodging safety and sanitation, and onsite wastewater treatment. Upgrade our Syndromic Data system used by public health officials to detect, understand, and monitor health events and trends. Replace our disease surveillance systems to meet federal data collection, security, and transmission requirements. Review activities to assure they also address recovery capacity and capability.
