We require additional support to maintain essential call center staff. NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED: In order to continue to provide essential poison center services, we need partial support for two full-time poison specialists and the Public Education and Communications Manager. POPULATION SERVED: The service area of the MPC will be covered. This area encompassed the entire state of Maryland minus Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties (which are covered by the National Capital Poison Center). PROGRESS TO DATE: We have existing staff in place. We’re looking for support to continue to provide services with these staff.
