Mt. Sanford Tribal Consortium's Special Diabetes Program for Indians is a long term prevention and treatment project that utilizes clinical resources as well as outreach education and activities to reduce the burden of Diabetes in the communities we serve. Individual treatment, education and planning, along with community wide exercise activities, nutrition education, and disease awareness events that are at the core of our work facilitate a broader community understanding of diabetes and strategies to prevent it. Culture is a large consideration in all of our endeavors, and we base our educational events around physical activities that also enhance the traditional values of our communities.
HHS’ Tracking Accountability in Government Grants System (TAGGS) website provides access to detailed descriptions of grants, loans, aggregated direct payments and other types of financial assistance awarded by the HHS Operating Divisions (OPDIVs) and the Office of the Secretary Staff Divisions (STAFFDIVs).
