Rhode Island Title X Family Planning - The Rhode Island Title X Family Planning Services project will provide Title X family planning services to culturally diverse, primarily low-income individuals living in Rhode Island through contracted community-based health care organizations. The project aims to promote the reproductive health of Rhode Islanders of reproductive age through implementation of program activities including provision of family planning services, policy development, coordination of systems of care, and community outreach and engagement. Project activities will support and empower Rhode Islanders with the information and means to exercise personal choice in the number and spacing of their children. Services provided will include clinical family planning and related preventive health services; information, education, and counseling related to family planning; and referral services. The project will use federal Title X statue, regulations, legislative mandates, legislation, program priorities, and other key issues to develop and implement all program activities. The project will promote activities to advance health equity and improve access to family planning services. In accordance with federal Title X requirements, none of the funds will be used in programs where abortion is a method of family planning.
