The Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Suite is being constructed to support the current behavioral health patient population and service line. The renovation includes, new ceiling grid, tiles, lighting, floorings, a bathroom renovation, creating walls for two new patient treatment rooms, a patient waiting area, an exam room renovation and creating a provider’s office. New millwork and counter tops, furniture, for clinicians, reception. Upgraded electrical feeds, including tie-in to main Emergency Electrical System and required data drops to support clinical equipment. Purchase of a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation System along with necessary accessories and servicing agreement. The new equipment in the TMS suite will include the Brainsway Deep TMS ™ treatment platform; a workstation for the technician; and a comfortable treatment chair for the patients. The waiting room will also include comfortable chairs. H+H/Elmhurst will provide a new service to treat depression for mental health patients in the Western Queens community. We want to address rising depression rates, which are both endemic and possibly partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing recovery.
