Strong Skagit Fathers FORGE Fatherhood Project - The Strong Skagit Fathers FORGE Fatherhood Project will implement a comprehensive program for fathers in Skagit County, Washington using the evidence-based Supporting Father Involvement curriculum. The project will provide responsible parenting education through 16-week workshop sessions, case management focused on economic stability, and supplementary peer engagement opportunities over a six-month commitment. Skagit County Public Hospital District 304 will serve community fathers age 18+ who have children aged 24 or younger, with a goal of serving 530 fathers over the five-year project period. The program will improve father-child interactions, relationship satisfaction, economic stability, and knowledge of child development through skills-based workshops, individualized case management, and ongoing peer support activities.
