FATHERHOOD FIRST - is a community-based program in Hampton Roads, VA that empowers fathers through comprehensive services promoting healthy marriages, responsible parenting, and economic stability. - Child Development Resources will implement the Fatherhood First program serving community and reentering fathers in the Greater Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The project will provide comprehensive services including 24:7 Dad AM(R) primary workshops promoting responsible parenting, healthy marriage, and economic stability; counseling on marriage and two-parent involvement; and job-driven employment activities. Services will be delivered through a combination of in-person and virtual workshops, intensive case management, and mentoring. The program will serve 81 fathers in Year 1 and 162 fathers annually in Years 2-5, for a total of 729 fathers over the five-year project period.
