Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania's Fatherhood FORGE program is a project intended to assist Fathers in Allegheny County, PA to provide both emotionally and financially for their children. - Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania will implement the Fatherhood FORGE (Family, Opportunity, Resilience, Grit, Engagement) program to serve fathers in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The project will provide comprehensive services including responsible parenting workshops using the 24/7 Dad curriculum, healthy marriage/relationship education, and economic mobility services. Fathers will receive intensive case management, workforce development assistance, and financial counseling through partnerships with organizations like the Financial Empowerment Center. The program will serve 1,000 fathers over five years, helping them improve parenting skills, strengthen relationships with their children and co-parents, and achieve greater economic stability through employment services, job placement, and career advancement opportunities.
