FORGE Fatherhood - The Volunteers of America of Los Angeles will implement the FORGE Fatherhood program to serve 900 fathers over five years in South Los Angeles communities including Compton, Crenshaw, and Willowbrook. The program will provide responsible parenting education using evidence-based curricula (24/7 Dad and On My Shoulders), healthy relationship education, and comprehensive employment services to help fathers improve their parenting skills and strengthen family bonds. Services will be delivered through workshops, case management, and job development assistance from VOALA's Compton Services Center. The project expects to improve father-child engagement, co-parenting relationships, and economic stability, with 70% of unemployed participants obtaining employment and 50% achieving higher education levels.
