(SEE ATTACHMENT) - Imperial Valley Regional Occupational Program will implement the ReadyforLIFE program to provide evidence-informed workshops on healthy relationships, marriage education, emotional regulation, financial literacy, and job readiness to high school students across Imperial County. The program will serve 340 youth annually in grades 9-12 through in-school curriculum delivery, supplemented by optional booster sessions, peer mentoring opportunities, and career advancement services including paid work experiences for eligible participants. Services will be delivered throughout Imperial County, California—a rural border region characterized by high unemployment (17.4%) and limited youth development resources. Over the five-year project period, ReadyforLIFE will serve 1,720 youth, equipping them with essential relationship skills and economic stability tools for successful transitions to adulthood.
