Start with HEART: Delivering Evidence-Based Relationship and Parenting Education to Underserved Families in Southeast Louisiana to Promote Family Stability and Well-Being - Start Corporation will implement the PREP 8.0 curriculum to strengthen relationships among married, engaged, co-parenting, and romantically involved couples through 12-hour workshops delivered at five established clinic locations in Terrebonne, Lafourche, St. Tammany, and Orleans parishes. The program will provide services to adult couples, focusing on communication, conflict resolution, and emotional safety skills, with free childcare, transportation, and meals to reduce participation barriers. Services will be delivered across 15 parishes in Southeast Louisiana, with in-person workshops at trusted community facilities. Over five years, the program will serve 1,260 individuals (630 couples), providing relationship education and wraparound supports to promote family stability and long-term well-being.
