Alabama Healthy Marriage and Relationship Education (AHMRE) Project - The Alabama Healthy Marriage and Relationship Education project will implement a 12-hour evidence-based curriculum-based workshop featuring the ELEVATE curriculum to adult couples in 23 counties across Alabama. The project will serve 1,700 adult couples (with 1,360 completing at least 90% of the program) over the five-year project period through both in-person and virtual classes. Services will be delivered in five primary counties (Lee, Mobile, Chambers, Etowah, and Talladega) and 18 surrounding counties where implementation sites have a physical presence. The project will help couples gain relationship skills and knowledge and connect them to additional community services to ensure healthier marriages, more stable relationships, enhanced economic stability, and stronger families.
