This is a three year project to provide at least 500 hours of Native language instruction to at least 15 students. This project will increase the Ojibwe proficiency levels by providing 4th & 5th grade classes and develop a comprehensive curriculum ensuring a cohesive program Ojibwe language and content studies to Grade 5. This project will provide immersion training for teachers and expand parent and community involvement. Waadookodaading will have a curriculum that will ensure students achieve at grade level in dual languages.
