Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Communities of Practice (CoP) - Washington State Community Action Partnership (WSCAP) will lead Community of Practice 2, serving CSBG networks in Alaska, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, including ten Tribal CSBG recipients. The three-year project will combine CoP-wide learning, state-specific training and technical assistance, peer exchange, coaching, and subject-matter expertise. During the planning phase, WSCAP and its partners will assess needs, establish performance measures, identify promising practices, and develop state implementation plans. Implementation will strengthen CSBG knowledge, governance, fiscal integrity, leadership, data use, organizational performance, coordinated service delivery, and economic-mobility strategies. Partners will also pilot and document adaptable practices that support employment stability, earned income, asset development, housing stability, family well-being, and substance-use-disorder referral and recovery partnerships. WSCAP will provide project direction, fiscal and subrecipient oversight, CoP-wide training coordination, evaluation, Tribal engagement, and federal reporting. State Association partners will engage their networks, deliver state-specific T/TA, contribute expertise, and develop resources for replication across the CSBG network.
