Laboratory Flexible Funding Model- Minnesota Department of Agriculture - PROJECT SUMMARY / ABSTRACT The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) Laboratory Services Division (LSD) is seeking funding under FDA funding opportunity RFA-FD-25-007, “Laboratory Flexible Funding Model (U19)” The MDA laboratory is applying for the following components: A1: Microbiology Human Food Product Testing, A3: Microbiology Animal Food Product Testing, A6: Microbiology Food Defense, A7: Microbiology Method Development and Method Validation, A8: Microbiology Capacity/Capability Development, B1: Chemistry Human Food Product Testing, B2: Chemistry Animal Food Product Testing, B3: Chemistry Food Defense, B4: Chemistry Method Development and Method Validation, B5: Chemistry Capability/Capacity Development. Each analytical track has its own research strategy. In our cooperative agreement proposal, we establish that the MDA laboratory meets the eligibility requirement for this funding opportunity.
