Family Achievement in Recovery (FAIR) at PAR Village - The Family Achievement in Recovery (FAIR) at PAR Village project will provide gender-specific, culturally competent and linguistically appropriate residential treatment services for 60 substance abusing pregnant, postpartum women, 60 children and 120 family members over the project's three-year period, focused on achieving sustained recovery characterized by: abstinence from drugs of abuse; family stability; stable mental and physical health, positive child development and healthy behaviors. The project will emphasize enrolling multi-racial and/or minority women of color, women who are involved with the child welfare system and those at risk for or living with HIV/AIDS. The goals and measurable objectives of the FAIR project are to increase PAR Village's residential capacity for an additional 60 women and their children as appropriate over a three-year period based on a six-month length of stay on average; develop natural pathways to substance abuse, mental health, primary health care, education, parenting, life skill, employment and housing services as warranted to ensure the health and well-being of each woman and her family; and enhance existing aftercare systems to support each mother and her family's successful sustained recovery.
