The Rhode Island Department of Mental Health, Retardation and Hospitals, a previously ATR funded applicant, is seeking funding from SAMHSA to implement Accessing Recovery in Rhode Island. The project will continue to serve the criminal justice population and caretakers involved with Child Protective Services. New populations will all women statewide, National Guard members and families, residential treatment completers, and discharges from detoxification. Care Coordinators will create the voucher for services, monitor voucher use, coordinate services, complete the follow-up GPRA and maintain monthly contact with the client throughout the voucher life. The RI ATR program will provide all services statewide and will enhance and expand the network of providers, with particular attention to faith base providers. It is anticipated that ATR III will serve a total of 4,500 clients over the four years of grant funding. Total funding requested for year one is $4,000,000.
