The Ali Forney Center, Inc., (AFC) in collaboration with its licensed partner, Care for the Homeless (CFH) is proposing to provide licensed substance abuse and mental health treatment services in New York City for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) runaway, homeless, and street youth and young adults. The proposed program will serve sixty (60) youth resulting in a measurable decrease in substance use, reduced psychiatric emergencies and increased success in the achievement of independent living in permanent independent and supportive housing.
