The Summit County Felony Drug Court Program (SCFDCP) is available to felony drug possession/abuse offenders county-wide. It is designed to introduce adult male and female offenders charged with fourth or fifth degree felony drug possession/abuse to drug treatment with continuing judicial involvement, increase the likelihood of rehabilitation and reduce the likelihood of recidivism. New services will be added and the intensity of the current SCFDCP services will be enhanced by adding a cognitive/behavioral component, employment services, crisis intervention and programming, and intensive case management services to the current menu of existing services. 150 clients will be served on an annual basis.
