CITY OF LAS VEGAS EVOLVE PROGRAM - The City of Las Vegas EVOLVE Workforce Development Center proposes to offer a flexible and comprehensive program which meets the individual needs of its clients, including reintegration and rehabilitation services that increase the success rates of clients who return to the community as contributing members. The underlying goal of this project is to prepare clients for self-sufficiency. Therefore, a majority of the resources are allocated for substance abuse treatment, support services, relapse prevention and job development activities. The long-term outcomes of the program are to accomplish the following: assist with sobriety and rehabilitation; achieve self-sufficiency and stability; decrease public nuisance; increase public safety; and re-enter society and become law abiding, contributing citizens.
