With a primary care training location at Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC), and other locations including the Loma Linda Veterans Affairs Hospital and SAC Health—a Federally Qualified Health Center, residents learn about providing care to a diverse patient population including uninsured, underrepresented, underserved, with many living in poverty. Total resident FTE positions requested to be funded under this program for all post-graduate years of training SAC Health is requesting funding for three residents above baseline year trained in program in Academic Year (AY) 2018-2019 per Post-Graduate Year (PGY), resulting in PGY1 three, PGY 2 three, PGY 3 three, totaling nine FTEs. Resident FTE positions requested to be funded under this program for AY 2022-2023 SAC Health is requesting funding for three FTEs for PGY1 for AY 2022-2023 (3-0-0) with residents rotating through SAC Health, LLMC, and the Loma Linda Veterans Affairs Hospital. All sites have provided resident training in prior years.
