The Coalition will prevent and reduce youth substance use by implementing the following strategies: collaborate with local police to increase the enforcement of social host, keg registration, and curfew laws; implement regular compliance checks and prescription drug take back events; limit alcohol and other drug availability at school and community events; provide youth leadership training and activities; and provide consistent messaging to all community sectors regarding underage drinking, marijuana, and prescription drug use.
