The Coalition will prevent and reduce youth substance use by implementing the following strategies: strengthening the Access Health's substance abuse prevention coalition, Communities Against Substance Abuse (CASA); developing a parental monitoring campaign to promote parental monitoring skills that prevent underage drinking and marijuana use; creating an educational campaign to prevent and increase awareness of the consequences of furnishing alcohol to minors; partnering with local law enforcement to enforce underage drinking laws; providing technical assistance and conducting local compliance checks; and creating a youth driven community awareness campaign on the dangers of marijuana use.
HHS’ Tracking Accountability in Government Grants System (TAGGS) website provides access to detailed descriptions of grants, loans, aggregated direct payments and other types of financial assistance awarded by the HHS Operating Divisions (OPDIVs) and the Office of the Secretary Staff Divisions (STAFFDIVs).
