The Coalition will prevent and reduce youth substance use by implementing the following strategies: providing local data on substance abuse problems to the community; utilize local youth data to promote drug awareness and provide resources; increase parent awareness of youth substance abuse and encourage more monitoring; work with law enforcement to ensure alcohol vendor compliance and proof of identification; reduce access to prescription drugs; provide education opportunities and resources to the community on marijuana and other prescription drugs; and partner and promote a media campaign to change beliefs that substance abuse is socially acceptable.
HHS’ Tracking Accountability in Government Grants System (TAGGS) website provides access to detailed descriptions of grants, loans, aggregated direct payments and other types of financial assistance awarded by the HHS Operating Divisions (OPDIVs) and the Office of the Secretary Staff Divisions (STAFFDIVs).
