The Coalition will prevent and reduce youth substance use by implementing the following strategies: implement cultural and language sensitive educational presentations, public service announcements, billboards, town hall meetings, and web-based communications regarding risk factors related to alcohol and tobacco; enhance skills facilitating model programs in schools; support youth to participate in activities that reduce risk of use; modify or change policies to reduce use and access; and ensure resources and partnerships to sustain successful strategic actions are pursued and nurtured.
HHS’ Tracking Accountability in Government Grants System (TAGGS) website provides access to detailed descriptions of grants, loans, aggregated direct payments and other types of financial assistance awarded by the HHS Operating Divisions (OPDIVs) and the Office of the Secretary Staff Divisions (STAFFDIVs).
