The goal of the project is to provide integrated HIV prevention programs to African American (AA) college students (ages 18-24), and non-collegiate young adults (ages 18-24) in the communities surrounding Southern University at Shreveport at risk of SA and/or HIV/AIDS. The project will employ SAMHSA's strategic prevention framework to guide the planning and implementation. Partners will conduct a community based needs assessment on the SUSLA campus and surrounding community to identify risk and protective factors, community resources as well as gaps in services.
