The coalition will prevent and reduce youth substance use by implementing the following strategies: Implementing Life Skills, a research-based substance abuse curriculum in grades 3 through 9; conducting targeted, strategic information dissemination which include: training for community members, parents, and school personnel; media advocacy, and the Safe Homes Initiative; and implementing a social norms campaign; a marijuana initiative; and work on drug-free workplace policy.
HHS’ Tracking Accountability in Government Grants System (TAGGS) website provides access to detailed descriptions of grants, loans, aggregated direct payments and other types of financial assistance awarded by the HHS Operating Divisions (OPDIVs) and the Office of the Secretary Staff Divisions (STAFFDIVs).
