Safe Schools Healthy Students Coalition - The coalition will prevent and reduce youth substance use by implementing the following strategies: train with local police officers on best practices of law enforcement procedures to increase enforcement of and compliance with laws pertaining to youth alcohol, marijuana, tobacco, and prescription drug use; develop a community wide social marketing campaign to address youth access to alcohol, marijuana, tobacco and prescription drugs, with the intent to educate youth and adults about the actual risk and harm associated with youth substance use; and increase the perception of risk and harm, and change the community norm that supports youth substance use.
