The Switchboard of Miami, Inc. (Switchboard) intends to further reduce the risk of suicide in Miami-Date County in the State of Florida by implementing follow up processes with individuals who indicate they are suicidal and/or who attempt suicide. Switchboard will accomplish this goal by further systemizing and refining current follow up processes and internal systems, building and strengthening provider relationships, implementing new training for staff and volunteers, and providing suicide prevention outreach into the community. Switchboard anticipates providing unduplicated follow up services to 2,000 individuals indicating they are suicidal each year of the grant.
HHS’ Tracking Accountability in Government Grants System (TAGGS) website provides access to detailed descriptions of grants, loans, aggregated direct payments and other types of financial assistance awarded by the HHS Operating Divisions (OPDIVs) and the Office of the Secretary Staff Divisions (STAFFDIVs).
