THE CROSS-CULTURAL UNITY PROJECT: A TRAUMA-INFORMED CONSUMER NETWORK (T-CUP) - Grantee builds on existing peer support communities to fully incorporate trauma-specific and trauma-informed services, expand cultural and linguistic diversity of peers through community-wide outreach, and conduct multicultural dialogues to prepare peer network and stakeholders for implementation, and address policy and practice issues through TI/TS. The project will support statewide peer support network and six regional recovery learning centers to engage policy makers, pilot ATRIUM Peer Recover Model for trauma-services support and recovery with ASL and establish train the trainer programs for persons who are deaf, Spanish speaking, LGBT, veterans and persons of African descent. Partners include the state, no-governmental organizations and groups that address cultural needs of Latino/African American communities.
