WAPA - WELLNESS FOR ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICANS SUPPLEMENTAL HEALTH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROJECT - ACRS'WAPA Project (Wellness for Asian Pacific Americans) seeks to expand the use of interoperable electronic health records between ACRS, its project partners and other healthcare providers with the goal of improving overall quality of care for underserved, at risk, limited English proficient (LEP) Asian Pacific American individuals with a Serious Mental Illness (SMI). WAPA will replace and develop an EHR system to use in the exchange of health information to achieve improved health outcomes for agency clients. Supplemental funds will support staffing both from IT and program services dedicated to implementation, consultant fees for the development of interoperability, including potential subscription fees and/or customization required for project partners, and the installation and implementation of e-prescriptions.
