The services and programs of Childhelp Merv Griffin Villages, located in Beaumont, California have been making a difference in the lives of abused children through the incorporations of activities and innovative therapies designed to meet their individual needs. The Village provides a multidisciplinary treatment approach that seves as a best- practice model for successfully rehabilitating and improving the lives of these victims. Childhelp proposed the expansion and enhancement of core villages services including: resdential treatment which includes medical care and mental health therapy. The ranch program promotes recreational acitivities, youth development and therapy; and special educational services through the on-site Non-Public School. Childhelp will continue to target a population of children/youth who are victims of severe abuse and neglect, ages 5-16, in need of residential treatment and specialized mental health and educational services.
