MASSACHUSETTS STATEWIDE LATINO CONSUMER NETWORK - The Massachusetts Statewide Latino Consumer Network is a consumer-driven peer support model and network designed by and for the Latino peer mental health consumer community. Local peer support networks across the commonwealth will be linked to a statewide network of information sharing and collaboration, providing the opportunity for the Latino voice to join the peer support network at the state wide policy advocacy table. The creation of a multicultural informal stakeholder group will drive the development of peer recovery and support among multiple cultural groups. Partners that will assist to make this project successful include the Transformation Center, Peer Counseling Project, Boston University center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Consumer Quality Initiative, Inc., Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership, Vinfen, and the Department of Mental Health.
