T Cells: From Basic Biology to Therapeutic Applications - Abstract Support is requested for a Keystone Symposia conference entitled T Cells: From Basic Biology to Therapeutic Applications, organized by Ors. Andrea Schietinger, Daniel Campbell, and Ansuman Satpathy, with scientific programming input from Keystone Symposia. The meeting will take place Jan 11-14, 2027 at Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff, AB, Canada. T cells are highly variable and multifunctional components of the adaptive immune system, playing vital roles in health and disease, including inflammation, cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infections. This conference aims to foster collaboration between basic, translational, and clinical scientists from academia and industry, ensuring that cutting-edge discoveries in T cell biology and emerging technologies advance both fundamental research and clinical and therapeutic applications. Topics and meeting sessions include: (i) T cell differentiation, molecular programs, and the functional variability of CD4+, CDS+ and gamma delta T cell differentiation, and unconventional (innate-like) T cells; (ii) the role of spatial instructions in controlling T cell function; (iii) innovative approaches and technologies, such as advanced imaging, next-generation T cell engineering and (re)programming, and Al-driven methods for disease detection and treatment. Additionally, joint sessions with a second Keystone Symposia conference on Innate immunity: Molecular mechanisms, Diseases & Therapeutics, being held concurrently with this meeting, will explore how innate immune pathways regulate T cell behavior under homeostatic and disease conditions, and how these pathways can be harnessed for therapeutic interventions. The conference will attract a range of researchers across basic and translational immunology, including clinicians and researchers from industry, which will support future interdisciplinary collaborations that will drive growth and enhance clinical impacts derived from T cell-related biology.
