52 Fridays: FutureReady Health Decisions - Bros Foundation proposes 52 Fridays: FutureReady Health Decisions, a 36-month evaluation project for youth ages 13–19 in Marion County, Indiana. The project will examine whether a structured adolescent health component can be delivered through Bros Foundation’s existing 52 Fridays community platform with medical accuracy, consistent implementation, parent transparency, participant retention and measurable short-term outcomes. The project will deliver six sessions over six to eight weeks. Content will address body and reproductive health literacy, fertility and pregnancy risk, healthy relationships, consent and boundaries, reproductive goals and future planning, delayed sexual initiation, refusal skills, sexual risk avoidance and parent or caregiver communication. Parents or guardians of minors will receive advance notice, access to program materials, an opportunity to ask questions and clear opt-out instructions. Transportation assistance, participant incentives and structured follow-up will reduce barriers to attendance and evaluation completion. Bros Foundation will enroll 60 youth in each of three annual cohorts, for 180 participants over the project period. Annual targets are 50 youth completing all six sessions and 40 completing the three-month follow-up. Bros Foundation will lead implementation, recruitment, participant engagement, parent procedures, fiscal management and federal reporting. Black Dream Company will serve as the independent evaluator. An Adolescent Health/Reproductive Health Expert will review program content for medical accuracy and developmental fit. A qualified external institutional review board will review the study after award and before human-subjects research begins. The mixed-methods evaluation will collect baseline, immediate post-program and three-month follow-up data. Primary outcomes are body and reproductive health knowledge and sexual risk avoidance self-efficacy. Secondary outcomes are health decision-making self-efficacy, reproductive goals clarity and healthy relationship and consent knowledge. The evaluation will also measure reach, attendance, fidelity, facilitation quality, participant responsiveness, parent transparency, retention and data quality. The design will assess within-participant change and implementation performance and will not make causal claims. Major deliverables will include an evaluation plan, measurement and data-quality specification, Year 1 implementation and fidelity memorandum, Year 2 interim findings report and final evaluation and dissemination package. Bros Foundation will also produce practical summaries and implementation tools for community organizations, parents and caregivers, practitioners, public health partners and funders.
