Project Overview: Butte Silver Bow Persons Invested in Recovery and Inner Transformation (Butte SPIRIT Center) in partnership with Recovery Access Montana (RAM) seeks to establish a sustainable and comprehensive Rural Health Network to address critical gaps in recovery support services across Montana. As a community-based peer support organization, Butte SPIRIT operates the Butte SPIRIT Home, a state-licensed Clinically Managed Low-Intensity Residential Service Provider (ASAM Level 3.1), offering structured transitional living for adult men recovering from substance use disorder (SUD). While prioritizing Silver Bow and adjacent counties, Butte SPIRIT extends its services statewide, reflecting a commitment to expanding recovery access across Montana’s rural and tribal communities. Building on its foundation as the Recovery Residence Alliance of Montana (RRAM), RAM is evolving to integrate housing, peer support, recovery community organizations (RCOs), reentry programs, and workforce development initiatives into a cohesive system. This initiative will strengthen Montana’s recovery ecosystem by implementing standards, fostering collaboration, and delivering consistent, high-quality services across the state. By addressing the interconnected needs of stable housing, meaningful employment, community engagement, and peer support, the network will provide individuals in recovery with comprehensive, sustainable pathways to long-term wellness. By bridging critical service gaps in rural and tribal areas, this initiative will enhance coordination, resource alignment, and capacity-building among recovery service providers. Through structured partnerships, evidence-based recovery strategies, and a shared commitment to community-driven solutions, Butte SPIRIT and RAM will develop a scalable model for expanding and sustaining recovery support across Montana.
