The Coalition will increase capacity at the Coalition office and its member program crisis centers to adapt, implement, and evaluate state and community level strategies to prevent sexual violence. - The New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (The Coalition) will continue to build capacity to support and enhance the ongoing provision of primary Sexual Violence (SV) prevention programming across the state. Prevention programming will be based in principles of health equity, data-driven and monitored, and increasingly accessible to underserved populations and those with specific risk factors, such as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual and allies (LGBTQIA+), and Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities. The Coalition intends to add a staff member to increase capacity to support primary prevention and build partnerships to drive equitable programming. This includes ongoing collaboration with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (NH DHHS) to create and implement a new State Action Plan (SAP). The Coalition will increase support to its 12 Member Programs with training and technical assistance as they deliver community-level programming to create protective environments and promote positive social norms. Coalition staff will also lead outreach and awareness initiatives, enhance partnerships to make programming more equitable for communities that are disproportionately impacted by sexual violence, and will enhance the data it uses to drive decision making and determine the efficacy of programming.
