Enhancing Capacity for Sexual Violence Prevention - The Massachusetts Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence, Jane Doe Inc. (JDI) will implement initiatives aimed at building coalition and system infrastructure and capacity to prevent sexual violence, collaborate with the Masscahusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) to enhance a state action plan and increase data access and data-informed decision making, and implement sexual violence prevention strategies that address social determinants of health. As part of this process, JDI will engage in initiatives focused on increasing economic supports for women and people of color in the field and initiatives to create protective environments and address social norms on community college campuses. Coalition building, collaboration, and establishing communities of practice will feature prominently in capacity building and programmatic initiatives. Significant attention will be paid toward building capacity to design and implement program evaluations and to increasing access to data that can inform prevention and healthy equity-oriented program planning.
