The Nebraska Coalition Rape Prevention and Education Grant will support training and technical assistance prevention efforts across Nebraska and its network of programs. - The Coalition will use this funding opportunity to assess and strengthen its primary prevention of sexual violence strategies and incorporate activities that address the health inequities that create a disproportionate burden of sexual violence on historically oppressed and marginalized communities into its work. By the end of the funding grant period, the Coalition expects to increase its understanding of the following factors that affect the Coalition’s ability to plan and implement equity-focused sexual violence prevention strategies in Nebraska: • Coalition staff expertise and available resources; • Available data sources to identify populations and communities of focus; • Current partnerships, and how they are or are not meeting the current and future primary prevention and health equity work needs; • Current training and technical assistance provision, and how well they incorporate primary prevention and health equity; and • Coalition and partner engagement.
