Rhode Island Community Lead Poisoning Prevention Project - The purpose of the RI Community Lead Poisoning Prevention Project is to reduce childhood lead poisoning and lead poisoning disparities in the underserved communities of Providence, Pawtucket, and Central Falls RI. In this initiative, the Childhood Lead Action Project will mobilize parents and additional stakeholders in local coalitions to coordinate lead poisoning prevention outreach, education, and enforcement targeting high-risk areas of the Greater Providence Area. Community members will work together to raise awareness about hazards, resources for prevention, and consequences of noncompliance with lead safety laws to protect tenants.
