TU24-0137 PHEP Cooperative Agreement for Wyoming Department of Health - The Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Cooperative Agreement will guide Wyoming in designing, developing, and implementing strategies and activities to improve its readiness to deal with public health threats and emergencies. The goal is to prevent or reduce the morbidity and mortality caused by such emergencies, which can stress public health systems due to their scale, rapid onset, or unpredictability. To achieve this, Wyoming will implement strategies, complete activities, and conduct exercises to demonstrate its capacity and capability to meet the Response Readiness Framework priorities. These priorities, along with the Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Capabilities: National Standards for State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial Public Health, provide the framework to support preparedness, response, and recovery operations.
