This project is for the administration of two school-based surveys for the state of Ohio, the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) and School Health Profiles Survey (Profiles). These surveys aim to collect statewide, representative data on adolescents and school health policies/practices in Ohio. Years 1, 3, and 5 of this project are designated for YRBS planning and administration while years 2 and 4 are for the planning and administration of Profiles. YRBS will be administered in the fall of odd-numbered years (2025, 2027, 2029), while Profiles will be administered in the spring of even-numbered years (2026, 2028). Through the administration of YRBS and Profiles, ODH expects to obtain statewide, representative data to increase understanding of youth risk behaviors and school health policies and practices across the state. Increasing understanding and obtaining this data leads to programs and policies which address priority behaviors related to Ohio's adolescent population.
