The Marketing and Administrative Support Center (M/A Center) located within the Collaborative to Advance Health Services at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Nursing and Health Studies will work collaboratively with CDC and the CPN membership and utilize four multi-focal strategies to make an impact on the HIV prevention workforce:
Strategy 1: Develop and implement national and regional marketing plans to increase visibility, accessibility, and utilization of the CBA program and available services by CDC-funded health departments, CBOs, and their local partners; Strategy 2: In partnership with CDC, facilitate the planning and implementation of face-to-face, teleconference, and webinar meetings to further communication, coordination, and collaboration among CPN members; Strategy 3: Participate in all post-award CPN meetings, conference calls, and other activities to enhance communication, coordination, and collaboration among all CPN members; and Strategy 4: Conduct monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities. The M/A Center will collaborate with CBA providers and CDC to tailor national and regional marketing approaches for each CBA program component and track using the most appropriate mix of innovative, state-of-the-art technologies, products, and materials designed to reach the interdisciplinary HIV prevention workforce. The M/A Center will leverage digital technology to promote CDC’s approved website for access to CPN resources, will utilize CPN-branded social media accounts for maximum CBA provider and CBA consumer engagement, and post web-appropriate marketing material to the CDC-approved website for ease of access by intended audiences. These efforts will promote and support national prevention goals, the HIV care continuum, CDC’s HIP approach, and the DHAP vision of a future free of HIV.
