The Public Health Center of Excellence on Dementia Caregiving will employ a public health dissemination strategy to implement Health Brian Initiative Road Map (RM) Actions and achieve the outcomes of increasing access to topic specific tools and materials (Outcome 1) and increasing use of topic specific best practices and proven strategies (Outcome 2) to support unpaid caregivers of people living with Alzheimers Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD). These outcomes will be achieved through strategies and activities guided by and in cooperation with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) The PHCOC DC features a robust engaged network of 17 leading national organizations that represent caregivers of people with ADRD from diverse communities care contexts settings and ethnic backgrounds. The national network of the PHCOE DC DC is core to the function of the Center as it will allow for centralized messaging of dementia caregiving materials tools and best practices as well as offer an unprecedented opportunity to disseminate and evaluate CDC and Center developed resources through a multitude of platforms to reach state local and tribal public health and many other organizations across the U.S. Our Robust stakeholder engaged dissemination strategy will leverage the expertise and national reach of our organizational partners to fully address the four Cores (E3 W3 P1 M3) and three Selected (E6 W2 M4) RM actions of the PHCOE DC in accordance with a propulation based public health approach.
