Idaho’s Tobacco Prevention and Control Program is requesting funding to implement DP20-2001, National and State Tobacco Control Program and to support QuitLine capacity in Idaho. Funds from this program will be used to prevent initiation, eliminate exposure to SHS, promote quitting and address tobacco related disparities. Statewide and community strategies and activities outlined in Component 1 and 2 Work Plans are specific and measurable and address and prioritize three specific populations: 1. Statewide disparate populations (behavioral health); 2. Community-based disparate populations; and 3. Youth and young adults to support statewide prevention of initiation to emerging tobacco products, Including E- cigarettes.
