Abstract Native Americans for Community Action (NACA) founded in 1971, is one of 34 Urban Indian programs in the United States, serving Flagstaff and surrounding Coconino County communities. The mission of NACA is to provide wellness strategies empower and advocate for Native people and others in need to create a healthy community based on Harmony, Respect, and Indigenous Values.NACA?s Lasting Indigenous Family Enrichment (L.I.F.E.) program will provide traditional activities and introduce innovative physical health modalities to help community develop and improve their well-being. L.I.F.E. will focus on Middle childhood (ages 10-14) youth who are moving through developmental stage where encouragement is needed from adults and when physical activity is important for their developing body. With parents, extended family, elders and community, L.I.F.E. will guide participants through traditional and contemporary activities to reduce risk factors to establish healthier living, such as; Youth Powwow Dance Program, adult nutrition and exercise classes, traditional running activities, contemporary physical health strategies, cultural gardening activities and engage with elders, who live in local care facilities.L.I.F.E.?s Project Strategies:1. Intergenerational learning opportunities that support wellbeing and resilience.2. Traditional and Contemporary physical activities that strengthen wellbeing.3. Seasonal Cultural and traditional practices that support health and wellness.L.I.F.E.?s Short-term Outcomes:1. Increase number of community members participating in intergenerational programs offered that support wellbeing and resilience.2. Increase number of community members participating in activities that teach traditional and contemporary physical activities.3. Increase number of community members participating in social and/or tribal activities conducted to learn about tobacco use, healthy food, and physical activity and lifestyle practices.L.I.F.E .?s Intermediate Outcomes: 1. Increase intergenerational interactions with positive impact on wellbeing.2. Increase participation in traditional and contemporary physical activity events.3. Increase community, social, and cultural activities focused on sharing cultural knowledge and practices.4. Increase number of community members reporting stronger understanding of and engagement in healthy living practices. L.I.F.E.?s Long Term Outcomes1. Reduce morbidity and mortality due to diabetes, heart, disease, stroke, and cancer.2. Increase resilience to diabetes, heart disease, stroke and cancer, through cultural practices and knowledge.
